Plate ‘em up

So I go pheasant hunting every year. Every year I bring back pheasants and we make a few feeble attempts to cook this or that but I just don't love pheasant the way I love elk meat or grouse meat. Anyway the husband unit has been mildly insisting that we need to cook the bags and bags of pheasant that have piled up in the freezer over the years and I thought I'd try to pull pheasant in the slow cooker for camping tacos this weekend.

Tl;dr it turned out great!! The meat is juicy and has an awesome flavor (basically just used whatever we had on hand - a can of green salsa, some honey, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, turkey stock).
