Caribou Gear

Plate ‘em up

I use smoked pulled pork for mine. Throw the pulled pork into cast iron skillet with bacon grease to get it crispy and then pour either some ginger beer or margarita over it to give it some moisture and sweetness. It’s not as sweet as “traditional” carnitas, but it’s still pretty damn good.

You'll enjoy them both. Use the cactus dust on pork to start they just work together. The original is versatile, chc8cken, fish, hell I put it on an avocado with balsamic vinegar.
We had a package on the step when I got home. I was sadly disappointed when it wasn’t the seasoning.

I’ll go to the butcher and get a couple thick Iowa chops for the cactus dust. Thanks for the tip!
