Otterbox + Phone Skope???

I have been looking at the option Phone Skope provides to attach an adapter plate to your existing case. I ussually have my phone in an Otterbox during hunting season, and they offer a kit that attaches the plate to the back of the case using heavy duty velcro, seems kind of amateurish, but they say it works.

Anyone try this out? If it works it would be really nice not to have to give up the weather resistance when out hunting.

If you are going to do the velcro route anyway, you might think about doing it completely amateurish and making your own phone scope using a measuring cup. Have a "hunting case" with the otterbox and a wad of velcro and then just attach it to the measuring up to take pictures through the scope.

That is a good idea. I might be taking the spotting scope into walmart tonight to test fit measuring cups. I am sure we could use another set with one mysteriously missing.
