Oregon Bear Tag....the best deal in the west for non-residents?

I didn't realize until this weekend when my buddy from Nevada came up to hunt bears that a non-resident bear tag is only $15.50. I thought Idaho had a good deal with their reduced price units but we have them bear hands down.

Is there another big game tag in the west that is less expensive?

I was on the edge about this hunt for next year. No longer. All in.

Oregon is too far for me to drive, while western Montana is just on my outer limit. But for the price difference, could probably fly and break even.

Is the tag all you need, or do you also need a NR hunting license?

That's a screamin deal, hopefully people take advantage of that. You could even fly and still do it for dirt cheap.
