My 4 yr old wanted to do an afternoon sit with me. We went in at 12:45 as the deer are pretty fired up. Shot the little buck at 2:30 and the doe right at dark. He was begging me to shoot the buck, so I couldn’t hold off. It was more important to make memories than it was to worry about size. Our next adventure is back out to Montana for some deer and elk around the home place over Thanksgiving. He asked me if we can shoot buffalo when we are there....lol. Love the excitement

Congratulations to both Zander Nelson and LukeDuke. Looks like some great memories were made in Minnesota today. LukeDuke, your little guy already has the grip and grin down. Get those arms extended and having a big smile will always makes your buck look bigger.

Congratulations to both Zander-Nelson and LukeDuke on your deer this year. You both made great memories in the 2020 deer season and you'll relive them for years to come. I'm living vicariously through other's hunts this fall due to an injury that prevents me from going out. As I noted to my wife today, this is the first deer Minnesota deer season I've missed since college in the mid-70s. I've been blessed to have many memorable hunts and it's great to see others building memories as well. Again, congratulations, and to those who are still hunting...enjoy the hunt, stay safe and shoot straight.

What a great night. Was able to sit with my wife tonight and with 10 minutes of legal light left, this guy came out chasing a doe. Warm and windy made conditions pretty gnarly, but it worked out Pretty fun weekend
