.....So I'm leaving work, I haven't been out hunting in a long time, Have to slip out tonight for a morning hunt...

Basically have everything packed and loaded in the truck except some food items. I've got the week off, a good tag, and some good pieces I have permission to hunt; should make for a great week. All I need is a good 170 or so buck and it will be perfect. I'm hoping I can fill in the first couple days and then I'll go play pack mule for my dad at elk camp. Good luck to the rest of the Idaho boys heading out.

I'm sick of hunting! While out elk hunting last week, I only saw two or three shooter bucks I would even pull the trigger on anyways. Hey Moosie, I did see a huge forked horn that was about 25" wide with 4" eyeguards! Too bad it's not legal in a 4-point or better unit or it would go down like a, like a, well, you get the point. Good luck to all of those who make it out for the Idaho opener tomorrow. Be safe and post some pics of some Idaho bruisers.
