My 270 vs 7mm08 is so close tthat a game animal would not know the difference but the lower recoil of the 7mm08 makes it more pleasurable to shoot.The 7mm08 is going to be my choice for next years elk hunt.
Ruger American left hand topped with Leupold VXII 3-9x40. I shoot 140 grain Accubond over 46 grains of IMR4350. Even though it was not picky on the powders I tried,it seemed to like the IMR4350 just alittle better and very consistant in groups.Best of all ,I can shoot it all day with out getting a bruised shoulder.
