Not of regs but I have an old Jonas Taxidermy brochure from back in the 40s... should have bought options on mounting back then

Here are Montana’s regulations and my dad’s guide license from 1947...

If I recall my 75' tag for deer in CA was $12,then moved to AZ & was $10,with lic.
Went to MT that year & OTC for elk & deer was less than $40.
