I leave in four hours.
Got a deer tag & a bear tag.
I'll be back late Sunday. It ain't much time but the hunting area is only two hours from my house, so I'll have all day Sat. and Sunday morning. If i don't get anything, I'll go again next weekend. This will be my first bowhunt in twelve years.

Got back late this afternoon, didn't shoot anything.
I saw lots of deer, but no legal bucks. Crept up to thirty yards from one, only to find out it was a spike.
Saw a nice bear, jet black, maby 275 lbs, but some other hunter spooked him before I could even start to get into place for a stalk.
I know where he lives now, I'll be back next weekend.

sounds like you are having the same luck as me.i think its just to hot to hunt now.sure is nice just to get out there though.
