Hey guys. I've rifle hunted deer in X1 growing up, lived in Colorado and Archery hunted for Elk for6 years, and now back in CA. Took my first bear this year while in a horrible deer zone, looking to get into more backcountry, and Idaho big game.

I didnt apply this year and ended up over in B zone behind Siskyou. It was still nice just getting out and getting back into the swing of things. Wish I had been a little more prepared. Next year.

I grew up in B zone. Nearly 20 years of hunting there and every year is still a challenge.

Lots of bears though!
