The new hunting booklets will be out in the next couple weeks. There's also a booklet with all the state lands listed, and another with state trust lands.

If anyone is intersted in getting these, I'll be more than happy to mail a set to you. I already have sent stuff to Randy and will be sending him this year's booklet, plus a couple others.

Postage is not much, so I'm not worried about getting paid for it. I would just like to see guys from OYOA sight be able to hunt here and help however I can.

Let me know if you're interested

John, I am a newbie, have been asked to go Elk hunting and would appreciate the info you have to help me. I am going to hunt with a handgun, encore in 500 s+w mag. Any advice would be of great help! The place is near Durrango. Ray

Can I get you to tell My 2 ex wives and the judge that let my last ex move out of state with my youngest son that I'm a nice guy, Randy? LOL

tcpistol...I'm on the other side of the state...not in the 'real Colorado' as some of the guys here joke about...lol I've heard there is some incredible hunting around Durango

Hey John...I am a newbie to this forum.
I am moving to Denver next month to attend Colorado school of trades Master Gunsmithing course.
I have hunted in Colorado twice in the past twenty years...killed a nice 6x6 bull on public land
back in 1986. I would appreciate that info as I can not afford to hunt with outfitters.
I am very exited about finally moving out west...cant wait to shoot my first goat too!
