Greetings HT,
New member checking in from Hampton Roads area of VA. I am an active duty Sailor that gre up hunting in Alabama. Spent 15 years in Southern California hunting public land (D-16, A-22) and Camp Pendleton. I now have a duty station that has less tempo than my last few and I am looking to get in some real western hunting. I have been going thru the Colorado elk hunting university on the parks an wildlife website and going thru the regs for Montana. My goal is to start building points in Colorado and Montana while doing an OTC hunt to start learning what it takes to be successful in the back country. I look forward to learning here on the site and contributing where I can.
