I too am planning on hunting Unit 62 this year... been going many years. Over the years the elk have gone silent and a lot more challenging to find. I hear that it is really dry there this year. Not sure if anyone else on here has more recent information. I am saving up my preference points for a decent unit eventually. This place is just familiar - where I first started elk hunting. Could be a challenging unit to hunt if water is scarce.
