Took my new .308 savage out for first time to get scope all dialed in, and put some rounds through my new hunting tool. Setting my zero for 100yds and after about 12 rounds I was feeling comfortable with where i had it dialed. Though I am certain I need more practice, I'm comfortable to take it out. The black target is at 100yds. These were the last 4 shots I took, with 3 being in a 3in diameter group, then I wanted to get a realistic drop rate at 200yds so I put 2 rounds down range at 200. Have about a 3" drop but still happy to see I'm getting a close group with 2 rounds. 20221002_150527.jpg20221002_143313.jpg

Which model savage? I only ask because I have a model 11 that will shoot decent (2ish”) groups for about 5-10 rounds, then it starts drifting.
