I think we may have created a monster. The other day my two oldest sons decided it was time to teach their nephew, Zac, how to ride a motorcycle. Zac told them that since he was only 5, he was too young. With their help Zac was able to get the hang of it very quickly and of course now expects to ride every day. That old Z50 is a testament to Honda's near bulletproofness, it's 15 years old and after being around my three boys it's a miracle it'll run at all. We're just not too sure Grandma's nerves are ready for another motocross racer though, my sons' racing used up all the nerves she had.

Good stuff. I got a little mx'r in the family too. I got this for my sons 4th birthday in February.

He's rode it a few times but isn't ready for the training wheels to come of just yet.

My oldest got a PW for Christmas at 4. Wish I still had it, recycled it back to the family I got it from. Now he keeps up with dad at 13. Youngest boy hasn't grown into his yet.

My dad busted his leg on that PW. I was riding my nephews around on it and he decides to "try it out". Got it all on video, he said it looked so small he didn't think he could get hurt.

The one in my photo is a 2005 model. The thing hasn't been rode an hour probably. The carb was gummed up and the pilot screw backed out. I took it apart and cleaned it and now it runs great. I paid $300 for it :D

Here is my last hoorah on a dirt bike, this was 2005 on my 250f. I ride a Harley now.

This is yours truely at Gary Bailey's in VA about 10 minute before I royally screwed myself up:

WV- Sweet! I need to find a deal like that. Hoping to find one in the next year. Great thing about little bikes is you'd have to try to lose any money if you ever sell them.

fishing4sanity- That Honda has been a great member of the family for sure. I remember my first ride was a Honda ATC 70, pure freedom!

Those little Hondas will run forever. My best friend growing up had a little Honda 50. He used to ramp it off of every tree stump in the neighborhood. My first bike was a 1983 Honda XR80.

I wish I had my first Honda 50 back, it was a 1969. I got it for Christmas and the next spring I had my first run-in with the law, Oregon State trooper put my 50 in the trunk and took me home - 6 year old rebel.
