After doing some very nonmathematical calculations, all my elk spots have the same (small) chance of seeing an elk. So I figure I should stop stressing where to go and let someone else pick a spot.

Luckily he was all too happy to take part. 5 cards and one salmon stick broken into pieces later, we have a spot to hunt this weekend.

LOL!

I never thought to ask my Lab where I should go hunting. I am sure she would pick a place with a lot of pheasants. She loves getting out and kicking birds up and digging up an occasional mouse! LOL
