It's been the "asbestos forest" as long as I can remember. Even had an old timer that was one of the original Clarkia Hot Shots tell me they called it that since he could remember.

The Jones Cr fire is sure growing fast.

Always strange to hold opposite feelings simultaneously re forest fires.

Bummer about the fire restrictions in Central. I will be there next week and will really miss having a campfire.

And why restrictions in Central and not in the area adjacent to the west where the biggest number of current fires actually are??
