New hunter

Names Jonathan from Plant city, Fl. My first hunt is at the end of this month and were hunting wild hog. I've watched plenty of videos and have read information and I think I am ready, along with all the safety courses. Wish me luck!

My only suggestion on pig hunting is to do it during the winter months. Wild and feral pigs have a lot of parasites and don't taste very well during the warmer months. I will be hunting Arkansas for pigs this winter, probably November/December/January time frame.

I didn't know that, I did see that most wild hog hunts and seasons are during winter months and wondered why. Thanks
