New Hunter from MN

Hey everyone! Just joined up and excited to participate in the conversation.

I started hunting when I was in my late 20s and became addicted. I went from not hunting to elk hunting out west in a matter of 4 years, and mostly thanks to Randy’s content.

Now I spend most hunting seasons in northern MN in a family hunting camp (wall tents on public land). I also hunt in WI on some land I bought. I love hunting camps and road trips.

I'm up in the talkeetna mtn's bout 60 miles north east-ish of willow.....

I lived in Anoka while going to school in the late 80's. I think Anoka was northern edge of Minneapolis back in the 80's, not sure if it's considered that now.

Greetings from Duluth>Skokie>Duluth>Brooklyn Center (when there were still Herefords)>Crystal>Brooklyn Park (when Anoka was exurban)>Columbia Heights>Mpls.>St. Paul>East Bethel (when Anoka was still exurban)>Anchorage>Seattle>White Bear Lake>Anchorage>New Hampshire>Duluth, apparently for good now but only because she wouldn’t do AK a third time.
