That is a great setup, that will serve both of you well for as long as you want it. The Hornady Whitetail ammo shoots great in the rifles that friends have brought to my range. The 150 Interlock that they use, is my go-to bullet in .308. I have 7 mags for elk, but the 150 will kill them just fine, too.
There is a lot of good ammo out there these days. Find what your rifle likes and then buy a bunch of it, so you don't have to keep re-sighting your rifle.
