Been hunting for a long time, but just this year bought a varmint call, thought I'd try my hand at killing more coyotes.Got a Thompson Encore in 22-250 I thought would do nicely with some handloads I'm working up.Hey to ya'll.

Thanks,so far I've only killed one coyote,and that was her fault,she came by while I had a BAR in my hand,she was running a doe during buck season.I shot her in the head at about 40 yards,she sits on top of my bookcase now,lookin down and scarin all the little kids.

When we got up yo you and you were behind that cow, there was some heavy breathing going on and no elk chasing going on.
