I don't know anything about the guy but I'd be leery of anything Mauier had decision making authority over.

He's solid. Mike's an avid archery elk hunter and has brought his kids up to be hunters as well.

He also has been a driving force in helping sportsmen during legislative sessions, especially the last one. I've worked with him for 5 years on all kinds of issues. I trust him.

As Howler said, it could be short term, depending on who gets elected.

Noonan, if I remember correctly, was once the head of the Montana Democratic Party. And this guy was another Democratic Party operative. I'd like to see someone with less political party affiliation. But that is not how the Schweitzer Administration has operated.
