I have been told your cartridge has too have a certain ft lbs at a hundred yards also to be legal in Nevada.

Cant have a case length of more than 3"?

I can only assume thats an attempt to stop guys with 375 cheytac - 50 bmg.

Thats exactly what it was for. Its been several years now.

Warden told me the 223/5.56 and the 300 blackout are both illegal to use for big game in Nevada as both dont have enough energy at 100 yds as per regulations.
