That right I want things to be like it was 40 years ago. Dont you. But your right things aren’t going back in fact things are going to get worse. Like getting a tag every 10 years. Im sorry but thats a fact. Hunting as we know it today is coming to an end. Ten states now have outlawed trapping whats next. You can sit around and talk about draw odds and wait and wait and wait.

It’s common sense. If guy are willing to pay $150,000 for a desert sheep tag. Guess what. Corruption abounds. Do I have receipts for my claims its called research

Its all about $$$$. Did you know that Ford Motor Company has a truck manufacturing plant in Germany during the war. They were building trucks for Hitlers Army and the plant was off limits for allied bombers. Standard oil shipped oil and lubricants to Hitlers Airforce. Its all about $$. Kickbacks and political favors.

Next, if you can figure out how to allow for 60,000 additional tags out there to account for the 85,000 big game applicants every year, good luck.

Unfortunately, the world human population is getting bigger. Mining, fires, horses, urban expansion, it will never be like it was in the good ole' days, particularly for deer. It will never be the 80's again. Pronghorn and elk are doing fine, sheep obviously have their struggles.

I have heard of the corruption, certain people get tags, skip the line in the draw, yada, yada, yada all my life. Different governors, department and division heads, attorney's general, commissioners and county advisory board members, and I am not aware of a single verified instance of that level of fraud occurring in regard to big game tags.

Instead of being so pissed off, try just reflecting on how good you have had it, and not making things so bitter.

Yes your right about not being so bitter I agree. We had no idea of the massive waste in the Federal Government until DOGE brought it to light we just assumed it might be that way but it was beyond anything we could have imagined Im sure you would be shocked with the number of people who bypass the draw system. It just human nature its happening weather you want to believe it or not. Elon Omar was worth $40,000 when she was elected to Congress now she is worth $30,000,000. Investigations Nope. Corruption runs our Federal, State, County, and City Governments The idea that no one is above the law is a fairy tail. We want to believe that things are fair and honest but that just not how it is.
