I'm feeling like Jermiah Johnson now. Caught this guy but after seeing him it isn't the one we saw the first night. So I guess I'll keep on trapping I live along cottonwood tree lined creek and there are all kinds of critters. I'll post any more of my trapping successes if there are anymore.

I don't know what it is for sure. FWP called it a ring trap. It has 2 rings that slide down the sides as the door shuts. Coons can't escape. I liked the solid wall feature in case I caught a pole cat instead.

You'll have to save a few for next fall for you and the kids to catch.You might be able to fill the gas tank with some fur money.
