I use my cell phone as my GPS unit when hunting, and have a battery pack at camp to charge myself up each night. I have thought about getting a Goal Zero or similar to keep my pack charged while I am out hunting. This is a close second option, and only $50 right now.

If you use a phone or tablet in camp or other device that has USB charging you might want to check it out.

JR,

That thing does look pretty awesome. I have a Guide 10 plus, and it has been great, but this thing looks like it could be even better, and more compact. Can it do camera and other types of batteries as well?

That does look pretty slick, would like to hear if anyone has any reviews on it. I to have the GZ Guide 10 plus, I use the crap out of the function that it charges my AAA & AA batteries along with my phone.

Just be aware that the solar charging ability on those type of panels is almost zero.

I skipped the solar panel and just got a 13,000 mAH lithium battery pack for $20ish at Amazon. That is more than enough to charge all my gadgets for a full week in the back country.

This is the latest thing that I've picked up for hauling with me.

One cord that I can use to charge my camera, inReach and iPhone. I've always had to carry 3 separate cords with me. Of course if I lost this one I would be SOL on all of my gadgets.

Which battery pack did you end up getting, I've actually been looking at these. I see some of these will jump your car too.
