Ive been planning to knock North Dakota off my turkey to-do list for a couple years and the planning finally came together this spring. A couple buddies and I headed out and arrived at the designated area after dark on a Wednesday night. Using waypoints on onx and information freely given by one of the wardens we were into birds right away. By 5:00 p.m. the first day we were all tagged out with nice mature birds and looking for options. I looked online and found that a reservation to the South still had tags available so we headed that way. After we got tags I spoke with one of the game wardens. I got to say this guy was fantastic not only did he tell us areas to look he personally lead us to a remote area with birds. With his help we put birds to bed that evening and by the end of day one we had two mature birds on the ground and the third bird the second morning. All in all a fantastic trip. Six birds, two states, three days. We had fantastic weather workable birds and never saw another Hunter I couldn't have written a script better! The only negative of the whole trip was my buddy's phone screwed up and didn't save the pictures of his SD tom
