My first with a Recurve - Schafer Silvertip

I have shot a number of deer with a longbow, but a few years ago I purchased a Schafer Silvertip Recurve. I had yet to harvest one with it, but finally succeeded this past week.

I got some great footage of the hunt and made a tribute video to Paul Schafer.

100% agree….. wonder what role he would be playing the bowhunting world if he were still alive? I would love to have been able to meet him. Thankfully I’ve met some of the people that were close to him, but unfortunately that as close I’ll ever get.
