Murderous Speedgoat!

Saw something I didn’t really think happened yesterday. Watched a buck pronghorn kill a smaller buck. I guess I knew it happened from time to time but dang that was crazy. Gored in the guts and died fairly quickly.

Saw a few good fights during my hunt last week. The rut is certainly in full swing in my zone.

Dang! What a rough way to go, but based upon what I saw yesterday I don’t doubt you either. I shot my buck as he was chasing 2 juvenile bucks

They are super aggressive animals towards one another during the rut. I have seen them chase other bucks for miles trying to get a hook into their guts.

mother nature has a cruel way of taking care of itself. Only the strongest make it to improve the herd genetics.
