Muledeer / crossbow

Anyone ever hunt muledeer with there crossbow? Sounds interesting to me along with the challenge.I watched a show on TV where they hunted with a crossbow for muledeer,of coarse they were on a private ranch.

I just purchased a crossbow. The idea of using it Wyoming has intrigued me. I did not draw an antelope tag, however, a young lady did draw a tag. She will NOT miss college so rifle season is out the window. We head out Aug. 13th and the archery season opens Aug. 15th. We will hunt three days on a private ranch. I'll let you know how it all plays out.

She has been practicing, as have I. The biggest thing is getting familiar with the trigger pull. NOT a smooth as my Savage rifles.

Antelope from a blind on a water hole would be fun. My antelope hunt will be on small parcels of public land ,so rifle hunting will be my choice.
