Most overrated band of all time

Have you seen him live? Chubby, ragged beard, and sounds better in person. To each their own though. My wife and I saw Stephen Wilson Jr. love this year, and will again this summer. He is freaking awesome. His style is even more outlaw rock country in person.

@Hammsolo :ROFLMAO: My wife and I also saw Stephen Wilson Jr. this year. Never heard of him, and about 2 songs into his set, I was like, who the hell is this guy?, and who is playing the guitar? It was him, obviously. And agreed- he was freaking awesome. Best performer I've seen in 30 years.

I wasn't expecting the show he puts on. Everyone i know who has seen him live pretty much says the same thing. Unreal.
I guess we need another thread about bands that blew you away live.

I do think U2 is overrated but my wife took me and they put on a hell of a production. Same with Pearl Jam.

Was never a fan of System of a down but holy shit that was a crazy show, just as tight as the studio but slightly faster, trash compactor crowd, would get lifted off my feet and swept 20 yards into a heap of bodies laying on our sides, then somehow the whole heap would stand up and we'd all sweep 20 yards a different direction, took me most of their set to escape the mosh pit.

Always thought Godsmack was a bit overrated, but they also killed it live.

Saw George Thorogood live twice and was thoroughly disappointed both times, he's now on my overrated list.

It's hard to really judge if you haven't seen them live.

Put Korn in that category, sound as clear as a CD, ton of energy

I walked out of a George Thorogood and the Destroyers concert at the filed house run Fort Lewis College in Durango in 1979. So loud I figured blood would soon be coursing from my ears.
