Had a date in college. Springsteen came up on the radio. She went on and on about how much she loved the "boss". I finally said "the boss of what, suck ass music?". Anyway, didnt get or want a second date. Some things just can't be compromised.

For this debate I am giving two answers. One is based mostly on dislike (and disbelief), the other is my opinion of the band I feel is actually the most overrated. Both bands were largely born of the same era, an era which I consider to be one of the worst from a pop culture/musical standpoint. The late 90's/early 2000's.

Limp Bizkit
Foo Fighters

Breaking this down, Limp Bizkit was just rap/metal with catchy low IQ songs such as Rollin' and Break Stuff. Not sure how they made it farther than playing backyard wrestling gigs honestly. The Foo Fighters were much more talented musically, but degraded over time, releasing watered down arena rock albums to questionable mainstream fanfare. Based on their global success but lack of actual good material beyond The album "Colour and the Shape" I rate them the most overrated band of all time.
