More WA birds a'fallin

Sounds like they are realy doing well. Thanks for passing that along also. It seems that the tom flocks get big in the fall right around elk season for some reason. Kevin and I were scouting one year down around Goldendale while wearing blue jeans, denim jeans and maybe the only thing that was camo was our ball caps. We heard some birds close, so we wanted to count them. We snuck up a little hill to the platue and there stood 4 or 5 jennys and 4 or 5 toms, all but 5 feet from us. We froze and after a few seconds they went right back to feeding. When they saw that we were not going to harm them they settled right down. Funny they know when season opens, and they change their whole life style.
