Looks like I'm not the only insensitive, self-centered, egotistical bastard in the country. From the NSSF Bullet Points:
PREVENTING 'REMOTE' HUNTING . . . A possible introduction of remote hunting, by way of the Internet, in Texas has sparked a proactive response from several states. Legislators in Texas, Virginia, Hawaii and Maine have introduced bills to prohibit computer-assisted and other types of hunting that allows for the aiming and firing of a firearm by an individual not physically present. Numerous conservation and hunting groups questioned the ethics of allowing individuals to hunt via the Internet. According to the State Legislative Sportsmen's Caucuses, preventive and proactive legislation such as this protects the fair chase ethic of our hunting, fishing and trapping heritage.

Pretty wild, even for the internet. To say it poses 'fair chase issues' is a gross understatement.
...and I thought the computer monitored real time game cams were the cutting edge...
I suppose robots will field dress the game...
Not making light of this deal though, the internet seems to leave common sense wondering what happened more oft than not.
