This kid....he's my son's best friend....I told a story about his success dropping a beautiful 6x6 elk 2 years ago as a 13 year old.....and now he just found these up in the woods behind our house.

They were just up there screwing around without any intent on finding sheds. Frankly I'm a little surprised to see antlers on the ground so early in January

I saw a wt deer in parents back yard that shed last week.

I had a Montana moose tag in 1995 and passed a bull that had shed one antler in early December.

Moose shed pretty early.

Saw a young mule deer buck with 1 antler last weekend.

Yes moose shed early I have seen lots shed in December. Also seen the odd bull with antlers in April yet. Our late moose runs from November 20-25 and some years depending on winter conditions etc a guy has to be careful as the horns will pop off then

1 watched 2 150 class mulies shed one side each last week, seen 4 other mulies missing one side, seen 6 whitetails missing one side, and 3 whitetails missing both sides, and about 40 bucks packing both sides still
