Montana Spring Hunting Season Dates

Just wondering if you guys that live in Montana have any insight on if Montana will extend the spring season like they did last year for most of the hunting units? I think it helped get a few more bears and if they did it for several years in a row it might help the elk and deer populations a bit. It says they will post dates around February 19th but thought someone might have heard if they are going to do it again or not. Thanks.

I didn't even realize they extended any of the seasons last year.

They've been slowly extending more and more units in regions 1 and 2 up to May 31 and June 15. I would guess they'll all be the same this year that they were last year.

Gotcha. Either way, I've heard anything about this year.
