Montana Odds?

What are the odds of drawing the NR Elk combo tag with no bonus points? Can't find it anywhere on the website. Is there a list of how many people applied last year and how many hold bonus points for this year?

About 13% for a non-res deer license. Close to 50% for a deer/elk combo. I think you have to contact DWR for exact odds though.

This year I think it is closer to 40% for Elk/Deer Combo with not points. At least that is what the gals at the region 6 HQ told me.

Kind of sucks not even putting in after 26 straight years hunting in MT.

I was 4 in a row... But won't be applying either. I guess this will be the second time in 17 years for me not hunting deer and elk there. Still going to whack some birds over Christmas though.

I imagine there will be more applicants this years since Montana has raised their outfitter sponsered tag prices. I would take my chances in the draw instead of paying $1200 for a combo tag.

55% on the elk combo. I called and asked the Fish and Game that question a week ago.
