Thank you Fin. I was curious as to what MT quotas were adjacent to Idaho Beaverhead and Island Park areas in Idaho. Would be MT 210, 310 and 320.

I've been surprised that more haven't been taken out of the Beaverhead and Island Park Zones. I mean, only 1 harvested wolf in Beaverhead? I thought that area was a hotbed. What do I have wrong?

There aren't as many wolves in those two zones as people would have you believe. In five years of running around here I've seen maybe 4 wolves and that is spending a ton of time out and about. This year was the first year I have seen a track while actually out hunting. I have one friend who has probably spent as much time hunting wolves as anyone in the state this year and has yet to see one.

Well, that's good to hear. Maybe I'll apply this next year for the Beaverhead Zone. I thought the ranchers on the MT side of that Zone were the ones crying wolf the loudest. Maybe I have that wrong, or maybe they were literally "crying wolf." Anyway, I guess 9 wolves out of the Island Park Zone isn't bad. But I wonder if those kills were on the western end of that Zone (around Kilgore), let's say, or if they were closer to Yellowstone.
