URGENT PLEA FOR PEOPLE ON FOOT IN SEARCH
There are two missing hunters, one is my fiancé Andrew Porter and the other is our dear friend Ian Stasko.
They were hunting in unit 81 of the Rio grande national forest off of the Los pinos trail head and have lost use of garmin with no response from them since Thursday evening. While they are experienced hunters, bad cold storms and fog came in quickly and continuously until Sunday morning. A lot of their gear is still in their car at the trailhead, as we assume they probably thought they were going out for a quick evening hunt with clear weather. They are both 6’ fit men, with dirty blonde and light brown hair (photos attached).
IF YOU ARE QUALIFIED / EXPERIENCED IN HUNTING, HIKING OR SOUTHERN COLORADO TERRAIN PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU, COME TO THE RIO LOS PINOS TRAILHEAD or the surrounding area to help search on foot. (photo of operations at trailhead and coordinates are attached as well). Dogs are coming in on Tuesday morning so foot traffic can get complicated with that - but RIGHT NOW, on MONDAY, we need as much foot traffic SAFELY out there searching as we can get.
I love Andrew with all of my heart and if you can’t come help, please just pray for a safe recovery. We are desperate for help and assistance on foot to support SAR with the Conejo County Sheriff Office that has been so very supportive and dedicated to searching. We are grateful for their dedication and ongoing hard work.
Again, you must be experienced to help on foot so we avoid more people getting lost. As of now the weather is clear and sunny. Please bring gear and be prepared, we are located at the trailhead where their car is parked - with the Sheriff. I may not be able to respond on here if I lose service but if you are able today please come help us. Thank you all for your support.
Pray for our guys.

Hopefully they're found in the midst of packing out 2 bulls with a broken garmin.
