Migration Barriers Vid

That’s good stuff. My company does an annual construction project to help improve fish migration in our region. Every little bit helps. Interestingly this film was sponsored by RMEF. I reached out to the Missoula headquarters of RMEF to gauge interest in local animal resource construction improvement projects in our area and never got any interest. They were only interested in the big fund raisers that are not what I am good at. They do a lot of great work and I am a life long member but there is more that can be done!

These project specialists who are involved in migration and other initiatives have nothing to do with the fundraising side, so I wonder if they connected you to the wrong person when you called.

I know these type of things are part of their project initiatives. I know when I was on the Board they were asking their Project Advisory Committees (state-based volunteers) to consider these kind of projects that address migration corridors and barriers at the state level. The funding you see for this video was toward that effort from the National HQ.

Send a PM if that is easier. I'd be happy to try guide you to the person who can likely give the answers of what they are doing in this effort.
