Next week I'm gonig to slip in a couple miles to go look for a sheepy sheepy for another budy that drew that tag. We will be back in T-bones Favorite neck of the woods (Is that area really neck of the woods or peak of the Mountians ?!?!)

Wish me luck that I'm not going to only find "ants" as T-bone would call it ...

That country is Great.... We had a good time. I spent a lot of it looking for a good place to sleep :

But Even in July we had fresh water :

I had to do some research on Ants....

The Beaver Slide still had some Snow in it :

We came back up the long way. Going down is pretty easy but looking back up you're like "HOLEY COW THATS VERTICAL !!"

Nice country though :

There is No lack of Fish in the water... I think we have a fish picture or two but I'll have to find them.

Great pictures. Did you see any sheep? How many days were you back in there?

We didn't see any sheep. Day one we hiked to Ship and the saddle Over looking the big country. We glasses a little and then went back to Ship. We hiked the next day to the Outlet of Ship and saw a Goat. It was his first goat he ever seen. Glassed a little around there and then hiked out to Wilson. Day three we hiked out. He has a good Idea of what the country looks like now. It always looks different from the map

My guess is now Tyson is Amped big time...... Lots-sa sleepless nights ahead. His season will start soon enuff though !!! You have to love that country. Not many people get to sit on Earths front porch.........

I'm just now seeing these pictures. And yes I am amped to say the least. Got everything planned out and packed up. We are heading to the campground tomorrow. Should be in the hunt area Saturday by 1:00 pm and looking for a sheep to kill sunday morning. I wish you could come with me this trip too Moosie, for some reason I have this strange song in my head. "There's a skeeter on my.........."
