So I have been trying to figure out a way to get my kayak down to the river on a fairly rough 4 wheeler trail near our house. I found myself thinking about it during downtime at work and spent a few hours designing an elaborate overhead rack system out of PVC that bolts to the 4 wheeler racks. When I was getting close to being done and figuring up my materials list, my wife looks over my shoulder and says......"Why don't you just strap it to that yard cart?". Today was the fourth trip to the river with this set up and despite the rough trail, no issues yet. Guess I am gonna have to give in and admit, sometime her ideas are pretty good, and obvious.

The husband's default answer to a happy marriage is, "Good idea, honey." Proof positive.

Very nice!
My mind can go off on some major elaborate scheme for a camp stove or ... well many items to weld.
My wife often reminds me of the simple proverb from1 billion b.c.
K.I.S.S.

She brings me back down to reality. :)

Yes Dear, has worked really well for me for 25 years. At some point one of my teens programmed my phone to change the words 'Yes Dear' to 'butthead' when I sent a text. I was in some hot water for a couple days before I figured that out!
Maybe a piece of pipe insulation-front and back?
you livin on one of dem dare buttes?

Nikster,

Yup, up on the butte. Because we live on the downhill side toward the middle of the two buttes, my son likes to tell people we live in the "Butte Crack".
