I'm looking to get maps for my deer unit in colorado.Who are some of the better companies now?Or would I be better off to buy a subscription for my phone.A member on here that I hunted with in Wyoming had a good phone app but forget what it was.I really want to start scouting the unit with maps and Google Earth to see if I may be able to find some good elk spots along with deer.I'm still on the fence about buying a 3rd season elk tag

My topo treated me well this season. You can customize the area and overlays. I also started using caltopo. It paired with my phone app (Gaia GPS) so you can print out maps with overlays and waypoints.
