Lucky me. Lift limb split

Hunted for a season with a bowtech Reign with limbs that were starting to delam, worked out. No idea how easy those mathews limbs let go once they start but I wouldn't buy a lift because of the limb issues.

I bumped my thumb release pulling back on a bull at 30 yards Sunday morning. Ended up rocketing my release into my quiver (broke the carbon runner in half) then swung around somehow and busted up my 300$ qad rest (lever in the image below should be flush with the housing), eventually landing about 15 yards from where I was standing. It was a long walk back to the truck after that debacle.

Luckily my backup bow is all dialed and ready to go. Back to the trigger release. She's a stone cold killer, probably should of never went away from her in the first place.

Well it seems hunttalk is on a role with bows this year. Just picked it up after having a new string put on. What do you funny

Just had the same thing happen to my pro defiant 34 a week from opener… the bow shop told me not to worry about it as it’s not “structural”.

I had a Matthews Ovation did exactly same limb delamination and Matthews sent limbs immediately.

I bought a Hoyt Double XL cause Sasquatch arm length. I had shoulder go bad and contacted Hoyt to see what could be done to lower poundage. They bent over backwards to help me by making limbs for lower poundage at their cost. Also sent to dealer and N/C to install and reset bow.

Both companies great CS in my experiences.
