Love this time of year!!

On the way back from town this evening, my wife, kids and I took about 6 miles of level B roads home. Saw 3 massive stud whitetails...Hard to judge with velvet...but the smallest would be around160"ish. !!! One had a really nice drop tine!!

Not like out West, but there is some. Best bet is archery season from a stand.

Ive had my eye on a couple big boys in my area. The nice thing is they are going back and forth between 2 properties that i can hunt.

They have really started to hit the bean fields here in Missouri. This always seems to be the best time of the year to see big ones

I'm seeing lots of fawns and little guys in my neck of the woods (Solon), but no monsters yet.

Too hot here to drive around looking at wildlife! 93F right now. In the basement with a cold beverage. Plenty of gawking going on up in YNP right now I bet.
