Article says with this newly acquired 937,000 acre NM acquisition, his total in the US is 2.7 million which is the largest for a private individual. Thats about 4200 square miles. If it was all in one spot would be a box about 65miles per side. The state of Connecticut is 5500 sq miles for reference.
