Losing western culture in global commercialism.

Back in my day we pounded in full 3” sixteen penny nails by hand with a 20 ounce hickory handle American steel hammer. Didn’t use those wimpy 12d nails from a newfangled pneumatic nailer. 😄
Bet I was doing that well before you.
No sissy 20 ounce either. 28 -32.
Sounds like you spend more time pointing a finger than lifting one these days so...spare me.😉

Not butt hurt, just responding with a little more edge than normal. Beer #2 working magic.
Everything smoothing out nicely.
Sorry I was referring to our generation and our weird tastes in homes

@JLS OMG here it is, still on the market. I stayed in this house as a rental 7 years ago… carpet on the pool deck. Water slide out of the master bedroom, which had a rotating bed with a mirror on the ceiling and blood red carpet.

Dude was a huge hunter and had a ton of mounts… all the Africa stuff, grizz, elk, etc.

Think that depends on where you live.
Here in the Bozeman area ( now considered a top something globally) there has been some intriguing trends in design. I like to see design going in a creative thoughtful direction. But I also appreciate creativity which doesn't hinge on spending a shit ton of money.

Dude… I’m calling you out. Dance fight! 😄

Comes from swinging those manly 32 oz hammers. It’s an earned limitation. Call it a draw? View attachment 269025
You got me to thinking why I dropped hammer weight over the years.
Other than the obvious...weight, I recall the ugly result of missing a nail with a wafflehead and stripping the end of your finger off. This was a fact of life, pre nail gun.
Yeah, smooth face at 20 ounces works just fine these days
😁😁

Is it gonna be a sad beige house? God millennial style is going to age so poorly… but mom why white on white on white with gray floors.

Who hurt you?
Hear, hear!

I'm getting really tired of the current trend of white and black. I think it's going to age houses like dark paneling at some point.

Titanium.......

I spent a few years building a lot of post frame buildings, and quickly found out that ti is the way. My ti Dalluge has been a great investment.

Six months of tennis elbow after driving ring shanked 20 pennies with a 24oz while wearing gloves was what did it for me.
