Any one here from Nampa area my wife and are thinking about moving and are on the hunt. Both like the looks of Nampa and want to make a trip up to see it. Any opinions on the area

Nampa, ID? I live on the west edge of Meridian, almost Nampa. We are mostly here because we have family in the area (the wife wont go to AK, but has agreed on MT/WY at some point down the road) Nampa is not a bad place to be at all, good hunting and fishing options in most directions, Boise is only a 20-30 minute drive.

Being close to Boise is a big plus for my wife. We have been looking for homes with 3-5 acres and Nampa seems to have the most at affordable prices.

I live out between Meridian and Nampa. Really nice area and so much to do. Lots of good hunting and fishing an outdoor opportunity within reasonable drive.

I grew up in Star. Eastern Nampa is a good spot.

Better home prices compared to many places in the valley. Lots of waterfowl and pheasants in Nampa, if you can get on some property. Bang doors and ask around.

Plenty of deer, elk and bears 1-3 hours away.
