I'm going to be switching over to ADG brass on my 300.
I figure this is a good time to look at other bullet options.
Currently I'm shooting a 178 Grain EldX at 3000 and some change.
It is a tack driver with this load.
Now that I have a 7PRC (162 EldX) and a 6.5PRC (130 CX)
I am thinking that maybe it would make sense to go with a heavier bullet on my 300.
I live in Wyoming.
My primary use would be longer range elk, and mule deer (beyond 400 yards)
I'm thinking I want something that is going to perform well out to 600-800.
Rifle is a Savage 110 with a 26" barrel and a break. Twist is 1:10"

Ive done well with 200 grain speer hotcors and 180 grain hornady interlocks. both will group 3" at 600 yards on a bad day in 20 mph wind gusts. My vintage rifle does not like boat tails, so sierra game kings and eldx are out for me. while i shoot 600 all summer, most of my rifle shots from antelope to elk end up being 55-150 yards.

I really like the 185 Berger Juggernauts in my 300 wm... If my 300 wm would shoot the 215 Berger that would be my first choice...
