Look what I found in the garage Yesterday

Mojave, Actually I'm holding out for more of a mature trophy specimen. I know the potential is there, but the older ones are much more wary. It will take patience, dedication, and a little bit of luck, but I am sure I will soon be making a trip to the taxidermist. (I'll probably do the full body mount...a head mount wouldn't do it justice)

LOL my friend she is funniest to watch when mouse gets close to her she on highest hting possible at time i htink was table in livin room, those days were great then she always been way older now she chnages so sad though she use be great person:)

Why'd ya kill a baby for? Thats the size we use for bait here in the city...LOL I set out some big azz traps, the kind that you want to have a thick pair of leather gloves on just incase she comes "unlatched" in the final manuver... :D

Never thought I'd be running a trap line in downtown Baltimore... :)

That thing isn't worth giving to a cat. if you want something worth it, I'll send you one of ours from down by the doughnut shop.

Spotlight them at night.

WH, Use the JohnSWA method. The sticky traps are less likey to damage the pelt. Won't be any repairs needed. Probably cheaper also..

Guess what? My trophy got away! I rebaited and reset the same trap last night, and put it in the same place in the garage next to the dog food. I get home from work this evening, and check my trap. The bait is gone but the trap has not been sprung! I would guess the little bastard stole the bait last night, but I didn't check it this morning. I'm really shocked. How does a mouse have the intelligence to not get himself killed in a trap? Boy I bet he enjoyed all that peanut butter. Hopefully he'll come back tonight for one more taste, and I'll get my mature trophy mouse. I knew the mature trophy mice were smart but not that smart! |oo
